Reopening of Tasting Room - May 23, 2020
We are very pleased to be reopening the Tasting Room on Saturday, May 23. But before you head our way, please read the following as there are some changes!
Tastings will be offered by reservation only. In order to provide a safe and healthy environment for our visitors and team members, we will be scheduling Saturday and Sunday appointments according to the following schedule:
11:00am - 12:15pm
12:30pm - 1:45pm
2:00pm - 3:15pm
3:30pm - 5:00pm
Within this schedule, we will be able to provide 3-6 groups at each appointment time. Three stations will be set up in the Tasting Room, and an additional three will be set up outside, weather permitting. Should weather become a factor, we will work with each group individually to determine an alternative date or time, if necessary. Please make sure that you arrive on time for your appointment. During this reopening phase, we must carefully abide by the tasting appointment schedule. Late arrivals may not be able to be served, depending on the schedule.
Weekday tasting appointments will be required, however, may have greater flexibility.
During Phase 2 Reopening, group sizes will be limited to a maximum of ten people. Co-mingling of groups is not permissible during this Phase. A couple other restrictions that we're implementing during this time include no outside food or drink (meat and cheese boards will be available for purchase), and no dogs. We completely understand that not being able to bring your four-legged friends is an inconvenience, however, we need to ensure that social distancing is maintained and the "oh it's a puppy" syndrome poses a substantial risk.
Our team members will be required to wear masks and gloves at all times. When arriving, our entrance will be through the patio French doors, where you will be greeted and escorted to your tasting station. One team member will be assigned to you during your tasting. All areas, wine glasses, and wine bottles will be sanitized before, during, and after your tasting appointment. Team members will also be washing their hands frequently and sanitizing high-touch areas.
Sales will be conducted at your tasting station rather than at the back tasting bar to avoid bottlenecks and to ensure social distancing. We will also be placing distancing signs on the floors for guidance. Guests will exit the tasting room through the door at the back tasting bar onto the patio.
Hand sanitizer will be available at various locations throughout the tasting room. We encourage guests to use it.
If our team members are feeling unwell, they will be either told to stay home, or will be sent home if they begin to feel unwell during their work shift. We would appreciate your assistance by staying home if you are feeling unwell. As much as we are looking forward to seeing you, we'd prefer to wait until you're feeling better!
Reservations for tastings can be made by emailing Angelina or by calling the tasting room at 503.538.0959. During Phase 2, due to the limited numbers of appointments we can provide in order to maintain social distancing and other guidelines, we will be implementing a reservation fee of $50. Club members will only be charged the fee if they do not arrive for their appointment. Other guests will pay the fee upfront. The fee will be refunded when they arrive for their tasting appointment.
We are sincerely hoping that we will be able to ease up on some of these policies in the near future and appreciate your support as we all work together.
