Salud! - Oregon's Premiere Pinot Noir Auction
SALUD! - OREGON'S PREMIERE PINOT NOIR AUCTION
November 12 and 13, 2010, ArborBrook has the honor of participating in ¡Salud!, a unique collaboration between Oregon winemakers and healthcare professionals that provides access to healthcare services for Oregon's seasonal vineyard workers and their families.
Dave and I would like to personally invite you to consider attending this exciting event and encourage you to acquire some of our incredible 2009 ¡Salud Cuvée, which is only available these two days:
Friday, November 12, 2010 - Big Board Auction and Tasting: Domaine Drouhin Oregon will host the lively Big Board Auction and Tasting where five cases of 2009 ¡Salud! Cuvée Pinot Noir from each of the 42 ¡Salud! Wineries will be auctioned.
Saturday, November 13, 2010 - Dinner, Live and Silent Auctions, The Governor Hotel: The gala event, held at the historic Governor Hotel in downtown Portland, will feature a black-tie dinner and live and silent auctions with distinct packages and wines from Oregon and beyond. ArborBrook is featured in some of these great packages! (for more information on auction items, please visit www.saludauction.org Visit ¡Salud!'s Website!
About the 2009 ¡Salud! Pinot Noir Cuvée: ArborBrook is part of the ¡Salud! Vintners Circle, a select group of the top 42 Oregon Pinot Noir producers, each of whom donate their time, resources, and talents to create a one-of-a-kind ¡Salud! Pinot Noir Cuvée. These limited edition Pinot Noirs will be sold exclusively at the ¡Salud! Auction and will not be available anywhere else. Only five cases of each rare offering will be bottled. Together they represent the very best of the 2009 vintage.
About ¡Salud!: ¡Salud! was created to address the healthcare needs of these individuals who are so integral to the winegrowing process. The Oregon wine industry depends on a seasonal workforce to create its sought-after wines. However, due to their temporary employment status, these workers often cannot meet their basic heathcare needs.
All of the funds generated at this remarkable two-day event allow ¡Salud!'s bilingual/bicultural nurses and healthcare educators to work in partnership with regional health and medical organizations to offer screenings, immunizations and personalized navigation through the complex healthcare system for this vital workforce.
We are asking you to join us in the vital mission to help support these workers, without whom our wines could not be made. Please bid on a case or two of our exclusive ¡Salud! Cuvée. If you're unable to attend the auction, we encourage you to submit a sealed bid through the ¡Salud! Office (503.681.1850). They'll ensure your bid is placed, even if you're not there! You may also purchase tickets or place sealed bids by visiting the ¡Salud! website.
